Heading to dinner to celebrate my youngest sons 11th birthday. Time flies when you’re aging.
Somehow all the blame for the current economy has fallen on the rich. None has fallen on the bureaucracy or the layman. It’s a setup.
I’m not the Ayn Rand nerd I once was- but this era is beginning to look a lot like the early pages of Atlas Shrugged.
Just who is expected to provide future jobs to this protected middle class? The VP or the entrepreneurs now classified as the enemy?
The Joe Biden as new ‘Czar of the Middle Class’ announcement from the White House today is disturbing. Institutional class envy… great.
The last Jog Blog of the last week of Jan. ‘09 has been posted- http://ping.fm/jQNFw
Even assuming Blogo’s guilt, it’s hard to fathom why the ex-gov isn’t worthy of the same media neutrality afforded to Brian Nichols.
Yet another voluminous Jog Blog has been posted http://ping.fm/jQNFw & eagerly awaits your perusal.
Made the mistake of putting on McCartney’s new masterpiece. Now I have to hear the whole thing- should be heading for bed.
More ambition than energy this afternoon. It’s cold & rainy- and the lack of sleep this week is beginning to catch up with me.
Feel like listening to good music- but too tired. Time for TV in bed until an old movie or new science show lulls me to sleep. 3am looms.
Syncing all my iPhotos w/ MobileMe account because the new iPhoto makes it much easier to do. The supposed Push never worked from my iPhone.
To be able to deal exclusively in logic & fact, rather than parsing emotion, conspiracy theory, & mindless reaction would be great.
When the political seems as absurd to me as it does now- I begin to wish I had been a scientist rather than a goofy political junkie.
Delivery truck just dropped off my copy of Apple’s new iLife ‘09. Hoping for good things from new version of iMovie & iPhoto. We’ll see.
Wake Up! The first Jog Blog of the new week has been posted http://ping.fm/jQNFw
Watching ‘Belly Talkers’ on Ovation TV. It’s a documentary on ventriloquists. Very entertaining.
Wondering if there will ever be a Bush-Bash backlash- or does public have endless appetite for it?
Bitter Sam is the Southside Steve of the couch.
Worked up a rough cut of atmospherics for short film ‘LITE’- Found water dripping on net & mixed in some electric piano over the top.
Playing w/ ambient noise ideas for ‘LITE’- The sound of water dripping from pipes as bed w/ industrial string & piano flourishes on top.
Thinking of reviving ‘How To Make Your Life Slightly Less Miserable’ as a series of 5 minute videos.
Your Obama ‘Day One’ Edition of the Jog Blog is posted http://ping.fm/jQNFw & seeks your review.
Your Inauguration Day Jog Blog has been posted http://ping.fm/jQNFw & it swears on a bible to both inform & entertain.
Zen monks r the only mystics that haven’t had to cave to modern science. They said you’re “One w/ Everything” 2500 years ago. Q-Physics?
It’s going to be a challenge whipping E=MC2, neurosis, & college hubris into an entertaining romp. But I know it can be done.
Look out Sarah Palin- Mike Huckabee is on his way to becoming the Republican Oprah.
The future of America will see every kind of Prez. Women, Mormon, even Muslim. In the history of America all that can happen… will happen.
It’s interesting. I’m one of the only people I know of that isn’t surprised that an African-American will be Prez. It’s America… of course
Wife is having friends over to watch movies in our little movie room. I’ll head to bedroom for some reading, TV, & short film prep.
Caught up on Dakar Rally. Now getting caught up on 24. One of those Tivo days.
Jeez- Carlos Sainz basically leads the Dakar Rally for two weeks then falls into a ravine, injures his navigator & has to withdraw. Wow.
Catching up on the Dakar Rally. Watching updates from Tuesday till now.
The last Jog Blog of the week has been posted http://ping.fm/jQNFw & is waiting patiently for you.
Too tired to be productive. Watching Windows 7 demo vid from CES. Should be working on next short film: ‘LITE’
Extra! Extra! Read All About It! Today’s Jog Blog has been posted! http://ping.fm/jQNFw
My heart sinks @ the news of Steve Jobs finally copping to more ‘complicated’ health issues & temporarily leaving Apple. He’s too young…
Sometimes a 15 to 20 minute nap is all it takes to snap back. Not today… but sometimes.
The Wednesday Edition of the Jog Blog has been posted http://ping.fm/jQNFw & is waiting for your perusal.
Beginning to realize I enjoy setting up new technology more than utilizing it. Must be some dark Freudian conclusion to be drawn from that.
If it’s Tuesday- it’s the Jog Blog! http://ping.fm/jQNFw
Must turn off this great music & go to bed. A weary town demands early morning entertainment! The bastards. Goodnight all.
Since it was suggested twice within minutes- I’ve downloaded the new Byrne/Eno album. Will check some out tonight.
Listening to David Byrne’s ‘Uh-Oh’ album for first time in years. Some of his best stuff- with or without the Heads.
Just watched Schiller’s Mac World keynote from last week. I think I was more impressed than most. Cool new features in iPhoto & iMovie.
Wake up! Knock the sand from your eyes! Today’s Jog Blog has been posted http://ping.fm/jQNFw
Does Warner become a shoo-in for the Hall of Fame if he wins a second Super Bowl w/ a different team?
Falcons beat Carolina in Charlotte, I mean.
Since Atlanta beat the Panthers at home & the Cards just beat the Falcons. It shouldn’t be a surprise the Cards have been so good so far.
Panthers r the easy pick in 2nd game. I want to be a contrarian but the loss of Boldin could be crucial. Hopefully we’ll get a good game.
